The book "Ukraine: Food and History" tells a story of the past and present of Ukrainian food culture. The publication presents Ukrainian cuisine as a part of the country’s intangible cultural heritage. It includes food recipes which could be re-created at home and makes references to the local Ukrainian products, which reflect Ukraine's cultural diversity and the country’s rich heritage.

The book on culinary diplomacy “Ukraine. Food and History” came as a result of partnership between їzhakultura, an information and education project, їzhak publishing which specialises in the history of food in Ukraine and the Ukrainian Institute, a public organisation affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
